Este juego trata sobre las guerras navales de la segunda guerra mundial, en la captura a normandia, la caza de piratas, la defensa de las comunicaciones sovieticas, etc. Los protagonistas son los barcos de guerra, tambien llamados "Flota Mozquito", botes, de patrulla y muchos mas.

Durante el transcurso de las misiones podemos cambiar entre 2 modos, o bien comandar a toda la flota de barcos o manejar la tripulacion de uno solo. En el modo estrategia controlaremos el curso de la batalla, podemos especificar cuanto y como se movera nuestro escuadron, dando ordenes a cada barco para tomar accion, etc. Tambien podremos movernos al puesto de comando de cada uno de nuestros barcos, disparando las torretas contra los aviones y enviando torpedos a la flota enemiga.
Una de las caracteristicas mas importantes del juego es que esta basado en historia real, recreando los combates de la segunda guerra mundial. Los barcos y aviones son una replica exacta a los de la vida real de los que incluso podremos encontrar en una enciclopedia que el mismo juego brinda.
